5. Getting Connected


How to get the Pitchero Club app

Looking for the Pitchero Club app in your phone or tablet's application store. You will be asked to enter a username and password which are the same as the ones you use to access this website.

If you don't have a phone or tablet, you can use Pitchero via this website by clicking on the Login button.

Setting your availability

You need you to set your availability for each match so that captains know whether you can be selected to play. Do this using the Pitchero Club app:

  1. Find the Calendar section in the app.
  2. You will be able to see each of the fixtures and events relevant to you. Please set your availability for a few weeks in advance. If you don't see relevant fixtures, you may not have been added to the correct team by an admin. Please speak to someone - such as a team captain.
  3. Nearer the time of each fixture, the team selection will be finalised and you will be send a notification via the app.
  4. Reply to the notification to confirm your availability. Please help our team captains by doing this promptly - otherwise they will need to chase you.

GMS

GMS (Game Management System) is used by England Hockey to register all players and link them to the club they play for. Click here to access GMS.

If you change clubs, you will need to update your registration with GMS. This will trigger a communication with your previous club to give them an opportunity to object to your transfer request. A club might object if, for example, a player is not up to date with any fees owed to the club.
