Keynsham Town Council has generously chosen to support the Hockey Club with a grant of £750 to support its continued expansion.

Richard May attended the Town Council Grants Presentation Evening to represent the Club. Having thanked the Town Council, he referenced the growth of the Club, going from three women's teams until September 2024 to five in September 2025.

"The Club has run taster sessions for two Keynsham scout groups and two brownie units in the last few months". Richard added: "We are always keen to hear from other community groups who would like to run a taster session". He then concluded by showing everyone the England Hockey trophy which the Club received as "Emerging Club of the Year" for 2025.

Richard was then presented the grant by Cllr Caitlin Brennan (pictured).

The Town Council supported 50 organisations which provide services to Keynsham residents. Cllr MacFie, representing the Town Council said: "It certainly was an evening of pride, gratitude and well-deserved recognition."
