In association with Pinpoint Coaching, we are intending to run two goalkeeper training sessions before the winter season starts in late August or early September. As always, it will be held at Wellsway School's hockey pitch, coached by Katie and Eva from Pinpoint Coaching.

We are planning to run one session for U16s in the morning and one for everyone older than that in the afternoon just as we did so successfully in Febrary. We can have up to 12 participants in each session.

U16s - 10.00am-12.30pm
Adults or U16-U18s - 1.00pm-3.30pm

The cost for a place is as follows:

£20 for U18s
£25 for Adults
Keynsham HC will subsidise the cost by £10 for Keynsham HC members, so £10 for U18 members and £15 for Adult members

The sessions are run at Wellsway School Sports Centre in Keynsham. The post code is BS31 1PH, or you can park in IKB Academy's car park at post code BS31 1SP which is on the same site but slightly closer to the hockey pitch.

All goal keepers should bring a full goal keeping kit with them. If you do not have your own, please try to borrow one from your club. We do have one or two spare kits available which may be available - please enquire in advance.

Pinpoint Coaching is run by a pair of two young women passionate about providing specialist sports coaching. They have both played at an elite level in their respective sports; Katie represented England U21 and Great Britain U23 as a goalkeeper, and Eva has participated in England Cricket Girls Academies. They normally run coaching camps at Exeter University, but we held an initial session at Wellsway just before Christmas which got amazing feedback:
