In association with Pinpoint Coaching, Keynsham Hockey Club will be running our next goalkeeper training camps on Saturday 21st February 2026. As always, it will be held at Wellsway School's hockey pitch on Keynsham.
We will be running one session for Under 16s (including school year 11 and below) in the morning and one for adults (school year 12 and up) in the afternoon. We can have up to 12 participants in each session.
The cost for a place is as follows:
Keynsham HC will subsidise the cost by £10 for Keynsham HC members, so £15+£1 for U18 members and £20+£1 for Adult members.
The sessions are run at Wellsway School Sports Centre in Keynsham. The post code is BS31 1PH, or you can park in IKB Academy's car park at post code BS31 1SP which is on the same site and slightly closer to the hockey pitch.
All goal keepers should bring a full goal keeping kit with them. If you do not have your own, please try to borrow one from your club. We do have one or two spare kits available which may be available - please enquire in advance.
Pinpoint Coaching is run by a group of young coaches passionate in providing specialist sports coaching. They normally run coaching camps at Exeter University. Feedback from our previous camps last seasons included:
This will be the 7th pair of camps we have run. There are photographs and a short video taken from a previous camp which will given you a flavour of the sessions.
To book a place, please complete the Registration Form and wait for confirmation of your place. We will then ask you to pay via BACS (for non-members) or via Pitchero (for KHC members) to purchase your ticket and secure your place.
Once paid, refunds (minus the booking fee) will then only be possible if the event does not go ahead due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme bad weather.

Keynsham Hockey Club is proud to be England Hockey's Emerging Club of the Year for 2025. One of the many reason we were recognised in this way was the running of these events to support goalkeepers both at Keynsham but also across the West region.
