An Evening with Keely Dunn

An Evening with Keely Dunn

Thursday 26 February 2026
19:00 - 21:30
Richard May

Keely Dunn is the founder of FHumpires which provides support and mentorship to umpires all over the world, whether newbies umpiring in their first season, through club umpires with 20 years of experience, to international FIH umpires.

On Thursday 26 February, 2026 from Keely will return to Keynsham Hockey Club for another interactive session. If you've ever heard Keely speak, you'll know that this will definitely be a fun way to spend an evening.

Keely will talk about the importance of communication as one focus:

  • Pre-match comms with your colleague and the teams
  • In-match comms
  • Post-match comms

but other content is still being agreed. The evening is intended to be your evening, so please let us know if you have any topics you would like to be discussed. Whilst things will crop up during the session, if you can let us know in advance, it might help Keely find a suitable video clip!

We hope the evening will be useful to all umpires keen to improve: both those taking neutral appointments and also club umpires. You can get a flavour of the event by watching a recording of a similar event held at Reading Hockey Club back in September 2023.

Please use the below link to book a place so we know how many people to expect.
